Description
Each capsule of Chemeyes-K potassium supplement contains 468mg Potassium Gluconate EP The EP refers to ‘European Pharmaceutical Grade’ which means this is a very high-quality potassium product.
The capsule dosage form can be fed whole to your pet. They are easy to open and this allows you to sprinkle the potassium supplement into your pet’s food to help them swallow it. This can be especially helpful for cats who may struggle to swallow capsules.

What am amazing product, seems to be sorting out my dog’s kidney problems and his potassium levels are now stabilised. Great value for money and excellent customer service, can’t recommend highly enough!

My cat decided she no longer liked the taste of (a more expensive) potassium supplement, (she has hypokalemia). I googled and found Chemeyes and I am so glad I did! She eats the Chemeyes-K with no problems and her potassium level has actually gone up since being on this new supplement. So pleased with the product and the first class customer service I have received both on the phone and with speed of product delivery. Excellent company, I highly recommend!

These capsules are a life saver as my cat has to have a potassium supplement and detests the ‘palatable’ liquid supplements. Capsules are easy to split and the contents dissolve easily into his food.
Having been let down by another supplier, I contacted Chemeyes direct and they were helpful & speedy in their response. I shall be using them in future

This is the only way I can get the extra potassium my cat needs into him – and dealing directly with Chemeyes has proved a boon – they are so helpful and speedy!

Excellent product that keeps my cat happy and is good value for money. If I could have one wish it would be that Chemeyes could produce a small concentrated lozenge shaped pill (like former Tumil-k) for its smaller clientele e.g. kittens and frail cats who swallow capsules with difficulty and/or have hypersensitive mouths that can’t cope with powder. It’s no problem to transfer the powder into smaller capsules but you just need more of them each and every day + a willing patient 🙂

Great product. No taste so cat has it mixed with food with no problems

Speedy delivery and love the eco pack – better for the environment AND it fits through my letterbox! The powder is easy to mix into any sort of liquid, without seeming to be noticed by fussy eaters

Molly was found to be hypokalemic after successful radioactive iodine cure for hyperthyroidism. She is a special case of nervous and intelligent, making her impossible to pill or trick. Chemeyes-K is sprinkled on her food every morning and she either likes it or doesn’t realise it’s there, I’m not sure which, but either way she gets her medicine and my hands stay in one piece!

We have 2 cats on Chemeyes-K. As yet we haven’t had blood tests taken to check their potassium levels have improved.

My cat will not take liquids so thank goodness I found these tablets.

It’s a relief that at least ONE company provides potassium in a form that can be fed to a cat without traumatizing it. Even our fussy cat doesn’t notice the powder mixed in with the gravy/jelly of its wet food.

So convenient to mix in with the gravy of wet food!

My cat has extremely low potassium levels and needs large replacement quantities. He can’t take an alternative, thick liquid supplement as it’s simply too much for him but these capsules, which can be emptied out and added to food or cat milk, are perfect.

Recommended by my vet. I just sprinkle it on my cats food. He loves the taste.

Mixing this powder into soft food sure beats skooshing Kaminox goo into your cat’s mouth!

My old boy wouldn’t touch anything that had the potassium the vet prescribed, which I admit smelt foul, although I am not a meat lover. These capsules can easily be split, mixed with food, and absolutely no problem. Happy cat, happy mum.

Would be good if there was an option of a bulk buy or larger qty as it gets really expensive when they are on it for life.

My vet recommended this as my cat really didn’t like the liquid potassium supplement we tried first. This is so much easier to give her in her food.

I have been using these for 3 weeks and my cat’s potassium has gone from 2.6 to 4.1 – i.e. from very low to just within normal range. The capsules are very big for a small cat, but they are easy to open and the powder inside can then be mixed with a little bit of water and then added to food. This is much easier than weighing out doses of powder, and much more palatable than the liquid supplements (which my cat would not touch). My vet has taken the details of the supplements to recommend to other clients.

Brilliant!! Next day delivery. Recommended by my vet for my cat who had lost his appetite, he is now eating healthily, putting back weight and enjoying his food. Very easy to administer, sprinkle on his food, always had trouble with medicine before, but he is taking it with no problem at all. Am a pensioner and find internet bit confusing but this site was easy to navigate and was kept I formed throughout. Service, product and delivery fantastic. Thank you so very much.

Excellent value for money. These are exactly the same tablets supplied by our vet, but a third of the price! I realise the vet has to mark prices up to cover overheads etc. but I couldn’t afford that price long term so this product supplied by chemeyes means I can afford to give my cat the medicine she needs. I am very happy with it.

My cat had very low potassium levels. We were using kaminox which my cat liked at first, but when we upped it to 2ml 3x a day she got very upset and stopped swallowing it.
We tried these tablets instead. I was concerned incase they were too big for her to swallow. And yes they are big! But if you aim it at the right point at the back of her throat she swallows it okay. She is very good with tablets though, so if it wouldn’t be any good if your cat isn’t used to taking tablets.
It’s completely changed her for the good though- potassium levels are up and she doesn’t have to go through the fight of having kaminox again.

For diabetic cats with hypokalaemia, Chemeyes-K is ideal because it has no additives at all – crucially, no glucose. My cats are both over 4 years into iatrogenic diabetes mellitus and are both doing well – in large part due to Chemeyes-K which has normalised their serum potassium. That, in turn, has greatly improved their insulin response.

Delighted with product as my cat is now receiving the medication he needs and I am no longer scratched, clawed or at risk of losing a finger or two as was the case with the previous liquid solution.

My 18 year old cat Simba refused the Kaminox liquid prescribed by his vet for his potassium deficiency. He has no issue with the Chemeyes K powder mixed into his food. When I spoke to his vet about Simba’s dislike of Kaminox, the vet trawled the web and recommended Chemeyes K as an alternative. I highly recommend Chemeyes K.

My cat Simba, who will be 19 years of age on 28th August, has never had any hesitation in licking up the powder in its entirety which I scatter on his food or a cat yogurt. Before I came across this product he always refused a liquid alternative prescribed by his veterinary surgeon.

This product has changed the welfare of two of my cats who are hypokalaemic with hyperthyroidism. One hated having 3.5 mls of a liquid equivalent every 8 hours and the other had unrelenting diarrhoea from the same product. They are both tolerating the granules dissolved in water and Billy’s diarrhoea has resolved completely thus avoiding a daily bath, which with heart failure was extremely stressful for both him and me. I will be ordering this on a regular basis as their hypokalaemia is likely to be life-long
